A wonderful touring activity is a day trip by boat to the volcanic islands of Nea Kameni, Palea Kameni and Thirassia, which are situated opposite Santorini, to swim in the hot springs of the area. You will also have the chance to taste various wines. Don't miss to visit the wineries.

Santorini is also famous for its traditional plates such us tomato balls, white eggplants, sun-dried tomatoes and fava (split-pea) which you can taste at the restaurants and taverns accompany with the unique varieties of Santorini wines.
Unique Beaches
The eruption of the Santorini volcano thousands of years ago resulted in the creation of some of the most dazzling beaches in the world, with red-black sand and pebbles, such as the Red and White beaches near Akrotiri, and the black and grey beaches in Kamari, Monolithos, Perissa and Perivolos.
